Forests in Vienna

During my production work for a music video, I needed to acquire a permit to shoot in a forest.

Vienna is a very green metropole and therefore, there are many forests in and around the city.

It was easy enough to get in touch with the authorities, yet even after receiving a permit, I needed to get in touch with the forest managers.

This was an essential step since the forest manager and the ministry contradicted each other in regards to, where we could shoot.

After finally getting in touch with the forest manager, I received a map of the fields that were accessible to a film team. It narrowed down our options significantly and if we had known ahead of time we would have chosen a different forest.
